Before starting a new home, we present clients with a proprietary
spreadsheet which identifies all costs including building materials,
subcontractors, labor, tax, and margin. Nothing is hidden and it is
very easy to make changes in the estimating process.
We also realize that
'true construction costs' vary from estimates in that material prices
fluctuate and changes are ordered, so we have developed a 'Cost Tracking'
spreadsheet that shows you where your money is being spent in relation to
the original estimate.

Decisions,
decisions, decisions! It
goes without saying that building a new home involves a lot of decisions.
LSC tries to make that as painless as possible by providing you with a list
of vendors who we have found to be of the highest quality, reliability and
integrity. We encourage you to coordinate beforehand with your
Superintendent if you are planning on using a vendor not on our Preferred Vendor List.

Efficiency, Quality and Craftsmanship
LSC strives to maintain a very delicate
balance between efficiency and craftsmanship. Many homeowner's will talk
about building a house that took a year to finish when it was really a
ten-month project. We only deal with the best subcontractors who are as
dedicated to quality and efficiency as we are; we get the job done in the
right amount of time. One of our specialties is scheduling, i.e., getting
the subcontractors efficiently sequenced. This is another characteristic
