Children & Families
Black Mountain Home for Children, Youth & Families
A privately run 501(c)3 nonprofit caring for children whose homes have been declared unsafe or unhealthy.
Children are placed in the care of Black Mountain Home by the court system and Department of Social Services of their home county. The organization serves children from infancy through college age and beyond, addressing the needs of those who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected.
Some children remain under care briefly, while others may stay for an extensive part of their childhood.

Shelter & Recovery
Western Carolina Rescue Ministries
Providing essential services to the community for more than thirty-five years.
Many individuals seek out the organization for critical services such as food and shelter, finding comfort and refuge within its walls. Others engage with its comprehensive one-year residential recovery program, designed to break the hold of addiction and support personal transformation.
Through its dedicated work, Western Carolina Rescue Ministries continues to inspire hope and empowerment among those it serves.

Bounty & Soul
Connecting people to fresh, healthy food, educational opportunities, and social networks.
Believing in whole-person health, Bounty & Soul views these elements as foundational to well-being, providing the tools and resources necessary for individuals to lead balanced and fulfilling lives.
