Casa Bonita is a reflection of what we do best at Living Stone Design + Build—bringing together thoughtful design, intentional building, and a deep respect for the way people want to live.
As a premier Designer Showhouse, this home was designed and built by our team and brought to life in collaboration with ID.ology Interiors & Design and Atelier Maison & Co. From the outset, the approach is quiet and grounded. The exterior meets the land with humility—natural, understated, and connected to the Blue Ridge landscape. Then, as you move inside, the home opens up into something expansive, light-filled, and highly refined.
The design blends a relaxed, West Coast influence with a warm, modern simplicity. It’s clean, but never cold. Elevated, yet approachable. Every space feels intentional—layered with natural materials, organic textures, and a continuity that carries throughout the home.
Wrapped in vertical Thermory wood siding and framed by large-scale Aspen windows, the home is designed to bring the outside in. More than 700 square feet of indoor-outdoor living space creates a seamless connection to nature, reinforcing a sense of calm, openness, and ease.
Beyond aesthetics, Casa Bonita is built for how you live—now and long term. As a GreenBuilt, ENERGY STAR, and Indoor airPLUS certified home, it prioritizes health, performance, and efficiency at every level. Cleaner air, better materials, and smarter systems all work together to support everyday wellbeing.
The layout is designed for longevity, with main-level living that allows the home to evolve with you over time. It’s a space that supports aging in place without sacrificing design or comfort—something we believe should be standard, not an upgrade.
Throughout the home, biophilic design principles play a key role. Expansive glass, skylights, natural wood, and masonry elements create a constant connection to the outdoors—helping reduce stress, improve focus, support better sleep, and enhance overall wellbeing.
From the gourmet kitchen with Thermador appliances to its location near a Gary Player-designed golf course and extensive trail systems, Casa Bonita offers more than a beautiful place to live—it offers a lifestyle rooted in balance, health, and connection.
